The first bandaid - Real Mum story on MoM

Well they say when kids start bruising themselves, they’re growing ! And yes, so my toddler had his first bandaid yesterday. I went to pick him up from the day care and there he was….bruised knee but still with gleaming eyes and heavenly smile. I picked him up and tears rolled down my eyes… its his first one !! thats a milestone – isnt it?

My grandson is 10 months, crawling and pulling himself up. Lots of bumps already and more to come

Anything can be a milestone if you consider it one! Very cute, glad it wasn’t a bad first bandaid.

Nice story. Glad the tumble didn’t end in too many tears! it can be a shock to discover something has happened while they’ve been in childcare or at school etc. I remember the first time I found a little note with a description of first aid administered etc. in the school bag but all plasters removed of course by the time got home!
