As a mum to 3 children I have my fair share of little icky stories from when they were younger.
The first was when I actually had my first child. I wasn’t warned about the ooey gooey mess that made me have to wear pads and liners before and after the birth.
Secondly the amount of blood after the baby! It was a bit of a shock because I just felt like how could that much blood come out of me and I am still ok.
Thirdly the muck brought up by my babies in the first few days in hospital. It was usually liquidy substances that the doctors and nurses said was a little bit of fluid from when they were in the womb.
Followed by coming home to the millions of little icky messes having to deal with at home from pooey sticky names, to spit up milk. It definetly shows pregnancy and babies is nothing glamorous. But the joy of the children is worth all the little messes in the world.
