We spent our weekend with lots of relaxation time, playing board games, reading, walking, cooking and other fun and down time activities.

We were going to go to the park / playground and let the kids amuse themselves but we had fairly heavy rain and everything is saturated. Last time after less rain than this time the area was very slippery. Not ideal weather for a picnic there this weekend at all. Now a picnic under the verandah and some very unusual drawings on the “floor” of it. I’ve been told I have to work out what they are. I think I might be in trouble soon.

Was hoping for some ‘time out’ with exercise (think mega long cycle or run… maybe with kids in tow) but am laid up with more aches and pains (perhaps hamstring injury too), so am stuck home! Played ‘frustration’ last night. Might try a short walk today…. ummm .. not quite as I’d have liked.
