I totally agree with you,you do have to be in it to win it!

I think it is a fantastic feeling getting that call/letter….especially when you forget you have entered.

Not that I have won a lot, but anything is always great even if it’s small.

I’m always entering competitions!
I do it for the fun of it, don’t mind whether I win or lose.
My best prize as of yet is a family hamper from “woman’s day” magazine, and I’ve also won 190 lollipops with kids textas.
Can’t complain with it

I like your attitude I hate people who expect a win!
It’s all about the enjoyment!

Thanks for sharing your story, I think entering competitions is fun and its something I like to do when I am having a little me time. You can also see a competitions save it as a fav and go back later and enter!

I agree I love entering an winning things no matter how big or small the prize is.

I love competitions too and even if I win prizes I don’t want the local charities or fund raisers love them that way I can contribute without it costing me money I can’t afford!

This photo is of the kids an I when we won the TV (above). It was in the local paper as they ran the comp and by the time this was taken, both the 3 and 4 year old had had enough, and I had to basically pin them down to get the photo! (They made us lie on the floor in the shop!) The look on their faces still makes us laugh now 10 years later
