CHOICE’s annual awards name and shame the shonkiest products and companies taking advantage of Australian consumers.

Surprisingly some of the worst products include The Commonwealth Bank, KitchenAid, Nutri-Grain and Marriott Vacation Club whose bad behavior has earned them a lemon gong at the 13th annual CHOICE Shonkys.

Marriott Vacation Club received a Shonky Award for… trapping holiday-makers into a bad deal for a lifetime.

CBA Dollarmites received a Shonky Award for… a relentless marketing program targeted at young minds.

Portacots  received a Shonky Award for… Putting infant lives at risk.

Magnet therapy received a Shonky Award for… Using weak claims to pull on hip pockets.

Bioglan received a Shonky Award for… Trickery that leaves people sleepless.

KitchenAid 2 Slice toaster received a Shonky Award for… miserably failing its only job.

Kelloggs Nutri Grain Smash received a Shonky Award for… Putting the squeeze on good health.

What other products would you like to see on the shonky list?
