  • I used to live near two schools and a kindergarten. At a T-Junction a lot of drivers didn’t indicate which way they were turning. They would sit in the middle road regardless of whether they were turning left or right. Just up the street there was a street that went “across” it and had a stop sign. A lost didn’t stop. Some didn’t even slow down. It upset me a lot because at least 95% of the drivers had children in their cars, some had children too young for school which meant they were at extra risk. It was very dangerous for school age children. I would hate to have been a passenger in some cars regardless of my circumstances. There was more than one accident at the T-Junction. I dreaded hearing the squeal of brakes when a vehicle who had right of way had to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident. One vehicle which had right of had only been on the main road for about a minute so wasn’t going fast and had a car drive out right in front and swiped the front of the vehicle. Fortunately there was witnesses who saw the accident. Apparently the driver at fault had been seen doing that at that and other corners and had been reported to the Police previously.

  • They’re pretty young – which doesn’t justify it, but may explain it!
