Why This Mum's Baby Bump Photo Went Viral

A mum pregnant with triplets has shared her incredible photos showing her baby bump journey over the past nine months.

Maria, from Copenhagen, Denmark, is already a mum to two-year-old Mikael and was shocked when she first found out she was expecting triplets.

Maria and husband Anders welcome two daughters and a son yesterday. The mum has posted a series of progression photos which quickly went viral.

“What a journey this has been,” she captioned the post which gained over 10,000 likes in just 24 hours.

“From the huge shock of learning there were three, to people’s reactions, the numerous scans/checks and all the preparations and planning for this life-changing event. Nothing [has been] like the ordinary.”

The 35-year-old has been blown away by the reaction to her photos and videos online.

“We never expected it would create such a buzz,” Maria tells Be.

“We’ve kind of gotten used to [the belly], so didn’t think it was that spectacular.

“I’ve gotten hundreds of comments from all around the world, with people sending their love. I’m trying to answer everyone’s nice messages, but I don’t think I can keep up with that when the babies are born. There are simply too many.”

35 weeks! ???????????????????????? And the last belly picture! ???? In two days we’ll finally meet our babies, and I wont have to drag around this 20 kg bump anymore. ???????????????????????? Since her story went viral the triplets have been born via a c-section on September 12.

Maria shared, “At 08.55, 08.56 and 08.57 today we welcomed our beautiful babies to the world.

Everything went really well, and we are so happy and relieved.”

Amazing photos! I think what’s more amazing is that she is so tiny and you can see that she is just all baby in those later stages- amazing how a women’s body can stretch that much!

Wow !!! How did she manage to keep her balance when she was walking around. She wouldn’t have been able to see her feet for several weeks before her babies were born, pick up anything if she dropped it.

Wow she is just all belly! My sister in law gave birth to naturally conceived triplets 2 years ago, but didn’t make it that far along. I don’t know how she does it, such an amazing mum to them and they also have a now 6 year old

Think that Maria by watching and posting her pregnancy journey too fruition, may have helped many mums to be or young women to learn,question Maria for pregnancy information. It really is one of ‘natures’miracles. I congratulate her and hope she gets lots of help with triplets and also two other children. My congratulations and best wishes I send.

Amazing how slim she looks throughout. Congratulations on the triplets who really are quite big in size at birth. Fantastic pictures to look back on – how amazing are all female bodies.
